Costello Island was the first title released by Costello Comics. The comic has existed since 1994. It was created during my grade 11 english class and its original purpose was to simply entertain my friend Robbie Costello, whom i named the island after. But as more and more people read the original story and enjoyed it, the more i figured it should become a series; and so the first volume of Costello Island was born. It was drawn on loose leaf and consisted of 7 issues, some of them never completed.
The quality improved somewhat when i began volume 2. This is when i began making copies and selling them to my friends. I was also given some shelf space by a local comic store (Strange Adventures)

Volume 2 consisted of 5 issues, 1 christmas special and 1 spin-off, Hyland Island. It sold well and everyone seemed to enjoy it, but i knew it was time to move on. I wanted to do a more serious book that would challenge my writing and drawing abilities more so than the simplistic cartoon world of Costello Island.
So I created TRIP. The story of a girl trying to understand her new ability to "trip" to alternate universes. I have been doing TRIP now for 5 years and its still going strong at an average of an issue a year.( i do have a real job and a social life after all)
During my run on TRIP i also released the first issue of Costello Island volume 3, and i hope to continue putting out both titles.

Aside from my two current titles I have a number of other projects that i would like to get out of my head and onto paper.
One being Helicopter Man, another creation from my high school days, who is a super hero who takes himself way too seriously in a very bizarre world.
I also plan to release a TRIP spin-off called Lupus, this would help me to explain some things behind the scenes of the main story line. Lupus will become a very prominent character in TRIP in issues to come so i'd like to tell his story. (he was the guy on the last page of issue 3)
Another character i'm developing is a frankenstein type character whose name is currently dead-boy. This would be a very dark and gritty book, more on this as i think it up.
